We have had a great day so far in Hong Kong. Our hostess Marie is a wonderful American lady who has taken us all over town and up to The Peak on the tram car. Unfortunately the clouds came inand we didn't have a great view. However it was still a wonderful sight and we enjoyed the cool breeze hoping the clouds would be blown away.
The double decker trams and buses are amazing. They have an amazing public transport system here so the cars are nowhere near as many as in Bangkok. It is almost civilised.
Marie and Dave live on a hill outside the main area of Hong Kong in a 3 storey home and it is very comfortable. We slept like logs last night - The best night's sleep I have had for a while!! We had the air con on all night and under a doona!!
